Security Lead

As a Public Safety Supervisor at Great Wolf Lodge, you will play a vital role in maintaining the security and safety of our guests, employees, and property. This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail.

This is a full-time opportunity to join our team as a Security Supervisor. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Security Manager with day-to-day operations, performing supervisory duties, training new security personnel, and providing protective and enforcement services in a courteous and restrained manner.

• Assist the Security Manager with daily paperwork review and follow-up, including DARs, timecard reviews, and incident reports from the previous day.
• Conduct inspections of security equipment to ensure operational status and report or repair any issues.
• Maintain order in the lodge by dealing with guest concerns, assisting with door lock problems, and coordinating responses to emergency situations such as fires or safety hazards.
• Supervise shift operations and investigations conducted on shift, following up on all investigations until completion.
• Promote a positive guest experience and perform other supportive functions of a Security Officer.

• Prior security, law enforcement, or military experience required; 3 or more years' experience preferred.
• 1 year in a continuous supervisory position or equivalent.
• 1 year's experience in the hospitality or tourism-related field.
• Computer experience and knowledge using programs such as Outlook, MS Office Suite, and ability to learn payroll and activity/incident report programs.
