Floor Technician

**Job Title:** Floor Technician

SBM Management Services is seeking a skilled Floor Technician to maintain clean and orderly commercial or office spaces. The ideal candidate will have experience ensuring high-quality floor care and possess excellent communication skills to meet customer expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures.
• Work with other employees in a team to complete assignments.
• Perform repetitive tasks.
• Maintain clean work area.
• Follow all company procedures, policies, and rules.
• Talk with lead, supervisor, co-workers, managers, and customers in a professional manner.
• Fulfill staff shortages in custodial, recycle, or maintenance.
• Support shift lead in completing punch-list items.
• Use proper personal protective equipment.
• Present a professional appearance and conduct.
• Understand customer service and satisfaction.
• Understand reporting systems and environment.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment.
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area.
• Perform cleaning and maintenance of all floors.
• Complete work assignments in a timely manner.
• Utilize appropriate chemicals and supplies.
• Use and maintain equipment properly.

Qualifications:

• Experience in the janitorial industry required, with floor/carpet care expertise preferred.
• Must pass SBM Background checks, along with Pre-employment Drug screening & E-Verify.
• Floor Care experience and using machinery.
• General Knowledge of Care Floor and Scrubbing Techniques.

Shift: Sunday-Wednesday 6:00am-4:30pm, Wednesday-Saturday 6:00pm-4:30am.

Compensation: $16.00 - $16.50 per hour.
