Production Equipment Maintenance Specialist

SEH America is seeking a skilled Production Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our team in Vancouver, Washington. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment, troubleshooting and repairing complex electro-mechanical systems, and performing preventative maintenance tasks to minimize downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment used in silicon wafer production
- Use test equipment to diagnose equipment failures and perform preventative maintenance tasks
- Rebuild and modify manufacturing equipment as required
- Recognize and recommend machine improvements based on failures
- Collaborate with manufacturing engineers to implement equipment modifications and improvements
Requirements:
- Knowledge of electrical and electro-mechanical systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics
- Ability to comprehend electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
- Experience with hand tools and power tools
- Able to read and adhere to written SOPs and safety requirements
- Technical training or 2+ year technical degree or military equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in a related field or a combination of experience, technical training, and education
- Knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, stepper and servo motors
- Knowledge of AC power up to 480 Volts 3 phase
Working Conditions:
- Hazardous chemicals or vapors may be present in the work area
- Use of PPE is required in many job duties
- Climbing, awkward positions may be necessary
- Will occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
- Will work any shift and overtime as required
