Palletizing Operator at Michael Foods Inc.

The role of the Palletizing Operator is crucial to maintaining food safety and quality standards in the food processing and distribution industry. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating automatic palletizing equipment to sort, transfer, and stack finished product containers. This position requires attention to detail, effective communication skills, and adherence to safety practices.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Operate console controls to ensure smooth operation of the palletizing robot
  • Monitor packages moving along conveyor belts to detect defective packaging and press buttons to deflect packages accordingly
  • Manage stacking arrangements on pallets and transfer loaded pallets to storage or delivery platforms
  • Communicate with supervisors regarding operational issues and concerns
  • Remove and document waste/shrinkage, maintain accurate production records, and adhere to GMP and HACCP guidelines
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic math skills and ability to read simple instructions
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining safe working conditions

Compensation and Benefits:
