Overview:

Our team is seeking a highly skilled Applied Behavior Analyst (ABA) to join our Lawrenceville clinic. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that deliver real results and exceed patients' expectations.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for modeling and training staff in Positive Behavior Support methodology, serving as a member of Interdisciplinary Teams (IDTs), and conducting descriptive and systematic behavioral assessments. You will also provide direct behavioral treatment to clients via replacement skills training, social skills training, crisis de-escalation, group behavioral treatment, individual behavioral treatment, and/or skills coaching in all applicable settings.

Responsibilities:

  • Model and train staff in the principles and practice of Positive Behavior Support methodology.
  • Serve as a member of Interdisciplinary Teams (IDTs) providing expertise re: behavioral issues.
  • Conduct descriptive and systematic (e.g., analogue) behavioral assessments, including functional analyses, and provide behavior analytic interpretations of the results.
  • Provide direct behavioral treatment to clients via replacement skills training, social skills training, crisis de-escalation, group behavioral treatment, individual behavioral treatment, and/or skills coaching in all applicable settings.
  • Monitor restraint use and provide training to reduce.
  • Monitor challenging behavior.
  • Participate in Behavior Intervention Committee, Human Rights Committee, and other relevant committees, as assigned.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Doctoral or Master's Degree in Psychology, Counseling, or related discipline.
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification is required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; ability to write simple correspondence; ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to individuals and other employees of the organization.
  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions; ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to make independent decisions with good judgment and attention to detail.

Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) plan, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
