Job Title: QA/QC Expert

Job Summary:
Resource Informatics Group is seeking a highly skilled QA/QC Expert to lead and oversee quality assurance and control activities for a large and complex IT system project. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience managing quality control and quality assurance for a large and complex IT system project, including maintaining the project's quality management plan, managing QA/QC activities, and developing, measuring, and maintaining test matrices for all types of testing coverage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain the project's quality management plan, including quality objectives, quality metrics, and quality control processes.
  • Manage QA/QC activities, including providing updates to the project's integrated master schedule, developing and maintaining test matrices, and reporting testing progress to plan.
  • Develop, measure, and maintain test matrices for all types of testing coverage, including system testing, regression testing, and system integration testing.
  • Identify lessons learned for the QA/QC engagement and implement improvements to the quality management plan.
  • Lead and oversee a user acceptance testing team for a large and complex IT system that leveraged software development lifecycle methodologies such as waterfall, hybrid agile, etc.
  • Implement test methodologies, including system testing, regression testing, and system integration testing, and create test plans, generate, and maintain test cases and other test-related documentation.
  • Lead and oversee external interface testing efforts on a large and complex IT system.
  • Use automation testing tools such as SoapUI, Katalon, Selenium, and Postman to support testing activities.

Requirements:
  • At least three years of experience managing quality control and quality assurance for a large and complex IT system project.
  • At least three years of experience leading and overseeing a user acceptance testing team for a large and complex IT system that leveraged software development lifecycle methodologies such as waterfall, hybrid agile, etc.
  • At least three years of experience implementing test methodologies, including system testing, regression testing, and system integration testing.
  • At least two years of experience using automation testing tools such as SoapUI, Katalon, Selenium, and Postman.
  • At least $20M in total project cost, and a solution that has at least one hundred (100) internal end users and one hundred thousand (100,000) external users and a solution that provides a secure data exchange interface with multiple external systems.

Desirable Qualifications:
  • At least one year of experience with a California state agency or department performing quality assurance and/or testing activities.
  • At least three years of experience as a test lead coordinating and collaborating with a prime vendor/system integrator's development and testing team.
  • At least three years of experience developing test case scenarios to perform positive and negative testing of requirements to ensure forward and backwards traceability.
  • At least three years of experience using Microsoft Azure DevOps to manage the end-to-end test process, including developing real-time reports, configuring test activity dashboards, etc.
  • At least two years of experience creating reports using Microsoft Power BI tool or equivalent.
