Job Overview

Ambulatory Anesthesia Care (AAC) is a leading provider of anesthesia services dedicated to enhancing patient outcomes through innovative and effective solutions. We are seeking a high-integrity, purpose-driven Practice Manager to support the operational success of our anesthesia practices in the Pacific Northwest market. This role focuses on managing clinical and administrative teams, driving profitability, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and AAC best practices.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong emphasis on practice growth through process efficiency and team collaboration, and will be committed to fostering relationships with local leadership and clinicians.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Oversight: Responsible for practice's operational KPIs and monitoring client profitability. Works closely with Anesthesia Scheduling Coordinator to maximize bundling and anesthesiologists/dental anesthesia assistant utilization.
  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Leads anesthesiologist recruitment, negotiates compensation packages, and oversees process from leadership conversation through start date to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
  • Team and Client Support: Serve as main point of contact for Talent Success Team (TST) and Business Development (BD) teams. Coordinates BD requests for clinical meetings and assists with all BD efforts.
  • Compliance and Quality Monitoring: Help ensure adherence to regulatory standards, track quality metrics, and support performance improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare management, business, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of leadership experience in healthcare operations, preferably in surgical or anesthesia practices.
  • Experience and/or aptitude for building close working relationships with clinical and administrative teams. Ability to collaborate, coordinate, and troubleshoot with key stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with key performance metrics for practice profitability and operational efficiency.
  • Strong project management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
