Medical Support Specialist

About the Role:
Fresenius Medical Care North America is a leader in providing dialysis care and services to patients with chronic kidney disease. We are seeking highly motivated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Medical Support Specialists in our Dialysis Units.
Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support under the supervision of a licensed nurse. Your duties will include setting up and operating hemodialysis machines, conducting vital sign checks, and assisting patients with their treatment needs. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment, ensuring that all equipment and supplies are properly stored and used.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required. You must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
What We Offer:
We offer a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on location and experience. In addition to your base salary, you will receive comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off. Working Conditions:
This role requires frequent standing and walking, as well as occasional heavy lifting and bending. You must be able to work in a clinical setting with moderate noise levels and exposure to infectious diseases.
