Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our team as a Patient Care Specialist. This role will provide routine patient care to promote patient comfort and contribute to the overall patient plan of care in a fast-paced environment.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, basic hygiene needs, and nutritional intake as needed.
  • Collections patient specimens and data, including vital signs, and documents objective data and routine aspects of patient care.
  • Recognize and report abnormalities and/or changes in the patient's health status and responses to treatment to a licensed professional.
  • Perform procedures and use equipment as delegated by a licensed professional, including blood draws, foley catheters removal, and EKGs.
  • Support overall operating efficiency and effective flow of communication and information through receptionist/clerical duties.
  • Maintain accurate and complete patient records, ensuring all reports and chart forms are scanned or filed into the patient's record.
Requirements
  • A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is required.
  • BLS certification is mandatory.
  • At least one year of medical clerical experience is preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills are essential.
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology and computer literacy are necessary.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
