Job Overview

RPh on the Go is seeking an experienced and skilled Staff Pharmacist to join a long-term care facility in Louisville, Kentucky, for a contract-to-hire opportunity.

About the Role

This position is ideal for a pharmacist passionate about serving the needs of long-term care patients and looking for a stable, full-time role with growth potential. The successful candidate will oversee and manage pharmacy operations during the second shift, dispensing medications and providing consultative support to nursing staff.

Responsibilities
  • Manage pharmacy operations during the second shift, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations.
  • Dispense medications and provide consultative support to nursing staff, verifying prescriptions and maintaining accurate patient records.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare staff to optimize patient care outcomes and perform other duties as needed to support pharmacy operations.
Shift Schedule

The selected candidate will work Monday to Friday from 12:30pm to 11:00pm, with optional weekend shifts of 6, 8, or 10 hours.

Requirements
  • Minimum 1+ years of pharmacy experience, with a preference for those with long-term care experience and knowledge of DocuTrack/Frameworks.
  • A valid Kentucky pharmacy license is required.
Compensation Package

The estimated annual salary for this position is around $110,000-$130,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
