About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Project Scheduler to join our team at HNTB. As a Project Scheduler, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules, monitoring and reporting on status, and analyzing schedules and associated changes for key risk areas and milestones impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop moderately complex schedules
  • Maintain project schedules including progress updates
  • Revises forecasts and evaluates impact of delay
  • Communicates status of schedule and key risk areas to members of project management team
  • Performs schedule analysis to include critical activities, risk areas, key milestones and significant changes to schedule
  • Develops "what if" scenarios to explore alternate sequencing in order to mitigate or avoid schedule delays
  • Prepares reporting from schedules including EVA analysis, integration of cost & schedule
  • Performs contemporaneous schedule analysis
  • Performs detailed review of contractor schedule submittals, including baseline and progress updates
  • Researches project documentation relating to claim data, including project correspondence and inspection diaries

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or Business and 3 years relevant experience, or
  • In lieu of education, 7 years relevant experience
  • Familiarity with Primavera P6 software is required
  • AACE Certified Scheduling Technician (CST) or equivalent
  • Experience preparing and/or reviewing project schedules using commercially available scheduling software
