We are seeking a highly skilled 3D Data Expert to join our team at Leidos in St. Louis, Missouri. As a key member of our geospatial analysis group, you will be responsible for providing advanced expertise in Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) processing and analysis, as well as electro-optical (EO) imagery generation and co-registration of multi-source datasets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop processes to assemble multi-source 3D remote reconnaissance packages for geodetic survey missions leveraging existing data and services where possible.
  • Raise the bar on package production process based on customer feedback and automate refinement.
  • Supervise junior-level contractor analysts in remote reconnaissance package production.
  • Advise customer leadership and subject matter experts on photogrammetric capabilities, including LiDAR processing and analysis, and EO point cloud generation.

Requirements:

Essential Skills
  • Advanced knowledge of photogrammetry, including LiDAR processing and analysis and EO point cloud generation.
  • At least 10 years' experience processing and analyzing LiDAR data or EO point clouds, documenting precision and error in accordance with existing data standards.
  • Experience applying geodetic and photogrammetric principles to co-register multiple data sets to the WGS 84 reference frame and perform statistical analysis to determine absolute and relative error.
  • Proficiency in using QT Modeler, Socet Set, or similar elevation or point cloud processing and analysis software.
  • Experience working with ESRI ArcGISPro and knowledge of digital data formats such as vector data, raster data, shape files, GML, XML.

The estimated salary range for this position is $89,700 - $162,150 per year.

This role requires a BA degree and 8-12 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 6-10 years of experience.
