Job Overview

As a skilled Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform repairs to restore equipment to safe working conditions and minimize production downtime.
  • Maintain production equipment to maximize operational efficiency and update spare parts inventory levels.
  • Install, set up, modify, and relocate machinery to meet production requirements.
  • Read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic schematics/diagrams.
  • Test electrical systems, troubleshoot for continuity, voltage, current, and resistance.
  • Adhere to the Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures for equipment being serviced.
  • Complete all assigned preventative/predictive maintenance tasks as required.
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager and update electrical circuit diagrams as needed.
  • Follow company safety regulations and demonstrate safe work practices at all times.
  • Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety regulations.
  • Perform repairs and replacements of components such as motors, relays, PLCs, contactors, limit switches, and valves.
  • Handle special assignments and projects as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in maintenance within an industrial/manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical/mechanical/pneumatic/hydraulic schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Working knowledge of industrial PCs and PLCs (Siemens Step 7, Beckhoff TwinCat, etc.).
  • Familiarity with electric circuitry, relays, control voltage, proximity sensors, and motor controls.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
