Fountain Square of Lompoc is a small, assisted living community conveniently located in California. We are currently seeking compassionate and empathetic Caregivers to join our team.

Job Summary

We offer an estimated salary range of $32,000 - $42,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering care to residents in accordance with established plans of care or communicated by the wellness director, administrator, or other community personnel.

  • Providing resident services and performing assigned tasks, as well as assisting caregiving personnel when necessary.
  • Reviewing, updating, and maintaining caregiver notes on a daily basis.
  • Adhering to and conveying the philosophy of supporting dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for residents.
  • Maintaining a clean, neat, comfortable, safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
  • Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), environmental orientation, dining services, life enrichment programs, and other care services assigned, while encouraging self-care and independence.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, candidates must have a minimum of one year experience working with older adults as a personal care assistant, or possess relevant certification such as Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA). Additionally, strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to handle challenging situations with patience and professionalism, are essential.
