About the Role:
Vanderbilt University Medical Center is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic mammographic procedures in accordance with established departmental policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform all mammographic procedures and views according to established department protocols
- Review exposed radiographs for proper positioning, techniques, and labeling
- Complete all documentation forms as required by department
- Ensure that the images are delivered to viewing areas, film file room, or PACS system in a timely fashion
Requirements:
- Certifications: LIC-American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Licensure-Others
- Work Experience: 1 year
- Education: Graduate of an approved discipline specific program
