Job Summary

The Electrical Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems used in utilities and facilities areas. This role requires working on a variety of electrical equipment, including lighting systems, power distribution, and motors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform troubleshooting and repairs on commercial and industrial equipment, including variable frequency drives, motors, and power distribution systems.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance tasks on a wide range of equipment, including infrared scanning and static bonding and grounding.
  • Communicate the status of ongoing work activities through various means, such as email, voicemail, and maintenance management systems.
  • Work with voltages up to 13,200 and have a minimum of experience with 480 volts.
  • Complete all necessary training requirements, including scheduled training, computer-based training, and any other training identified in the development plan.
  • Develop techniques to ensure that newly acquired or developed equipment performs in accordance with required specifications.
  • Assist in establishing and documenting job plans and other service protocols as required.
  • Ensure that GxP and safe work policies and procedures are followed and maintained at all times in accordance with established company policies.
Qualifications
  • Knowledge and ability to use basic power tools and apply proper hand and measuring tools in an industrial setting.
  • High school diploma with 5+ years of experience or relevant certificate with 3+ years of experience or associate's technical degree with 1+ year of experience.
  • Training in electrical repair and troubleshooting within an industrial/commercial environment.
