About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at PICA Manufacturing Solutions. As a key member of our quality assurance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our IoT products.

Job Description

In this position, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive testing of our software applications and hardware devices, identifying defects, bugs, and usability issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive quality and efficiency improvements.

  • Conduct thorough testing of software applications and hardware devices to ensure they meet our high standards of quality and functionality.
  • Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure efficient and effective testing processes.
  • Collaborate with development teams, engineers, and QA professionals to contribute to the successful release of high-quality products.
  • Perform regression testing to ensure the stability of existing software and firmware features and functionalities.
  • Run system tests and smoke tests on a regular basis to identify potential issues before they impact our customers.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in manual and automated software and hardware QA testing.
  • Familiarity with testing methodologies, processes, and tools, including automation frameworks such as Selenium, JUnit, or similar.
  • Knowledge of computer systems, software applications, and IoT technologies (middleware, API, databases, etc.).
  • Experience in developing and maintaining automated test scripts to transition manual processes to automation.
