Accounting Clerk Job Description

Pinnacle Consulting Group Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Accounting Clerk to join our team. As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial records of our clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process invoices for payment to vendors, ensuring accurate GL coding and timely payment.
  • Reconcile and report discrepancies found in records, maintaining the integrity of our financial data.
  • Assist with trial balances and compare to financial tracker to true up the tracker, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Provide general accounting and clerical support to the finance and accounting department, including assisting with quarterly and year-end payroll reporting.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree with emphasis in accounting or closely related field.
  • One or more years of experience in accounting, preferably with knowledge of government accounting and QuickBooks experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify problems and develop solutions.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
