Job Title: Registered Nurse - NICU Float Position

St. Luke's Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Clinical Support Unit (Float Pool) - Critical Care service line in Boise, Idaho.

Job Summary:

We are looking for experienced RNs who are eager to expand their skills by supporting our Critical Care service line. As a float pool RN, you will maintain competencies for each unit supported, typically 3 skill sets within one service line. Inter-facility floating is expected between Boise, Meridian, and Nampa.

Responsibilities:
  • Identify patient needs and determine priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
  • Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized plans of care for patients assigned through initial and ongoing assessments.
  • Initiate assessments based on patient problems or needs, physician medical diagnoses, and functional health frameworks.
  • Perform therapeutic nursing interventions.
  • Manage patient care.
  • Document care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and/or clinical priorities.
  • Advocate for evidence-based practice care standards and support adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery.
  • Provide patient-centered care in alignment with professional nursing practice models.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's of Nursing Degree.
  • Experience: 1+ years of experience.
  • Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice.
