Heavy Duty Vehicle Technician Position Available

Ryder System is a leading logistics and transportation company seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join their team.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years' experience in diesel engine repair and maintenance, with knowledge of preventative maintenance procedures including oil changes, brake work, and tire rotations.

Responsibilities will include performing routine vehicle inspections, diagnosing mechanical issues, and repairing or replacing defective components as needed.

The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills and a strong attention to detail.

A valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A is preferred, but not required. The position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

In return for your expertise, Ryder offers a competitive salary of $54,000 per year, plus benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) matching.

The working hours are 4-10 hour shifts, Tuesday through Friday, with opportunities for overtime.
