Job Overview

CT Consultants, a leading engineering and architectural consulting firm, is seeking a skilled Urban Planning Specialist to join their team. As a key member of the planning team, this individual will be responsible for assisting in the creation of plans, planning documents, and land use codes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research and data analysis for planning projects.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop planning studies and reports.
  • Develop graphics and layouts for plans.
  • Attend meetings and public engagement events as needed.
Requirements
  • A master's degree in Urban Planning, Public Administration, Geography/GIS, or a related field.
  • Ability to analyze data and create maps using ArcGIS Pro and/or ArcGIS Online.
  • Knowledge of urban design programs such as SketchUp or Urban Footprint.
  • Oral communication and interpersonal skills to explain rules and procedures clearly to the public.
