Senior Cook

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Cook to join our culinary team at Memorial Healthcare System. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food according to recipes and production guidelines while adhering to food safety and sanitation procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development of menus for patients, physicians, and catering services
• Oversee scheduled meal preparation, presentation, and timely execution to ensure quality, safety, and service of the planned menu
• Follow and monitor standardized recipes in preparation of all food and complete required production records
• Review menu and special orders to determine types and quantities of food items to be prepared and communicate with departmental leadership any shortages or concerns
• Assist with staff scheduling, problem-solving, interviewing, and evaluations

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
• Three (3) years of experience as a cook required
