Job Overview

The Store Operations Manager is responsible for the overall leadership and direction of the store, working closely with the General Manager or Assistant General Manager. This role ensures the team has a clear understanding of goals, expectations, products, cleanliness, new directives, and guest connections during shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate mastery of Team Member responsibilities with ease, enthusiasm, and excellence.
  • Lead shifts that focus on team engagement and guest satisfaction with an unwavering commitment to making every interaction exceptional.
  • Develop strategies to maximize product sales and minimize waste.
  • Take ownership of the store's appearance and maintain a clean and welcoming environment.
  • Stay knowledgeable about daily deployments, roles, and responsibilities.
  • Effectively communicate with team members and guests throughout the shift.
  • Anticipate and address potential issues before they become problems.
  • Understand multiple priorities and communicate objectives and tasks clearly.
  • Take responsibility not only for the current shift but also for the next one.
  • Evaluate team performance against SOPs and quality standards.
  • Coach and provide feedback to team members to ensure they bring their best to their roles.
  • Train team members on role responsibilities, product knowledge, and promotional items.
  • Complete administrative tasks with integrity and accuracy, including bank deposits, inventory management, and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 1 year of leadership, restaurant, retail, or customer service experience, or proper training and approval from Caribou Coffee.
  • Ability to work at least one of the following: early mornings, evenings, some holidays, and/or weekends.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
