Director of Inside Sales

About the RoleThis role will be based in the Chicago office, with a hybrid schedule (2-3 days per week).
We're seeking a leader who will partner with marketing and sales teams to drive demand and create new business opportunities for our partnerships team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of executing with urgency, managing pipeline with attention to detail, and driving net new business revenue and accurate forecasting.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the inside sales function, supporting the existing team and hiring and onboarding new team members
- Develop sellers to build their own pipeline
- Work with sales leadership to inform improvements to the full sales process
- Leverage data to ensure KPIs are hit daily
- Coach reps on handling objections and pitching ThinkCERCA to book demos with prospects
- Motivate reps to learn and grow daily, preparing them for their next sales role
- Conduct weekly pipeline review meetings to present accurate updates to the C-Suite and Board
- 5+ years in sales leadership roles overseeing SDRs and AEs
- Experience in mid-market or enterprise selling environments required
- Proficiency in sales technology, including Outreach, Hubspot, and LI Sales Navigator
- Experience in K-12 education technology or selling SaaS with multi-product selling distribution
- Ability to manage at the ground level while also defining and executing broader business initiatives
This role will receive competitive On-Target Earnings (base salary + sales commission) + benefits + equity.
The On-Target Earnings* for US-based employees will be 70/30 commission split for base/variable pay, and aligned with one of the ranges below based on experience level.
