Mammography Technologist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team at Northeast Georgia Health System Inc. As a Mammography Technologist, you will be responsible for performing general radiographic procedures and mammography procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate all mammographic equipment according to equipment specifications and adhere to infection control and safety practices.
• Produce quality mammographic images consistently within established protocols.
• Assess patients according to exam ordered and document in patient records.
• Provide patient education pertinent to exam being performed and document in patient records.

Requirements:

• Current ARRT licensure.
• High School Diploma or GED and graduate of accredited ARRT Program.
• One year experience in mammography preferred.
