Job Summary
The RN's practice is guided by professional nursing principles, practices, concepts, and procedures as applied to patient care. The RN records patients' medical history and symptoms, performs diagnostic tests, analyzes results, operates medical equipment, administers treatment and medications, and helps with patient follow-up and rehabilitation. The RN establishes a care plan or contributes to an existing plan, which may include activities such as administering medication, starting and maintaining IV lines, administering therapies and treatments, observing patients and recording observations, and consulting with physicians and other healthcare clinicians.

Responsibilities
- Record patients' medical history and symptoms
- Perform diagnostic tests and analyze results
- Operate medical equipment and administer treatment and medications
- Help with patient follow-up and rehabilitation
- Establish a care plan or contribute to an existing plan
- Administer medication, start and maintain IV lines, administer therapies and treatments, observe patients and record observations, and consult with physicians and other healthcare clinicians

Qualifications
- Associate's Degree or Diploma in Nursing
- Licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Arizona upon hire
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification in BLS training course C and unit-specific certification as required by specialty area DOP
- At least 10 months of med-surg or acute specialty setting experience and at least 1 year of RN experience for all Float Positions
