About the Role

As our Financial Controller, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the continued success and growth of our operations. Your expertise in financial management, risk analysis, and regulatory compliance will be instrumental in driving our culinary ventures forward.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversight of all aspects of financial management, including corporate bookkeeping, payroll, regulatory reporting, budget preparation, and development of internal control policies and procedures.
  • Financial risk management and mitigation strategies to ensure the stability and growth of our business.
  • Leadership of financial and accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, tax preparation, payroll, and reporting.
  • Development and implementation of budgets, financial forecasts, and financial modeling to inform business decisions.
  • Maintenance of high-quality financial transactions and reporting to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
Requirements
  • Experience as a Bookkeeper or Financial Controller with a minimum of 1-2 years, preferably within the hospitality or restaurant industry.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles specific to the restaurant or hospitality industry.
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and experience with financial statement preparation, general ledger functions, and month-end/year-end close process.
  • Excellent analytical and financial modeling skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact and build relationships with all levels of the organization.

The estimated salary for this position is $80,000-$110,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. We offer a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
