Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Diesel Fleet Maintenance Specialist to join our team at US Foods, Inc. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining fleet road equipment, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with diesel equipment, including tractors, trailers, bobtails, reefers, and lift gates.
  • Perform preventative maintenance according to company standards.
  • Complete documentation of all repair orders, PM lists, and parts accountability.
  • Handle road service calls and perform road rescue/transport equipment as needed.
  • Keep track of assigned repairs by logging in and out of the Shop Fax system.
Requirements
  • Must have 3 years of commercial diesel mechanic or reefer experience.
  • OR 2 years of diesel mechanic experience with TK or Refrigeration certification.
  • Prior experience in administering appropriate PM programs.
  • Able to read and understand technical and service manuals.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to manage multiple functions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Benefits

  • Sunday - Friday schedule, 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM.
