Are you a software engineering expert looking to leverage your skills in data pipelines and analytics to drive business growth? We're seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Data Pipelines and Analytics Lead to join our team at Walmart Global Tech.



About the Role

As a Senior Software Engineer - Data Pipelines and Analytics Lead, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data pipelines and analytics systems that drive business insights and decision-making. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements, design and implement data solutions, and ensure data quality and integrity.



Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop large-scale data pipelines using Hadoop, Spark, and Map-Reduce technologies
  • Develop and maintain data analytics systems using statistical and machine learning techniques
  • Collaborate with data scientists to develop and deploy data models and algorithms
  • Work with engineering teams to design and implement data infrastructure and architecture
  • Develop and maintain ETL jobs using Jenkins and Airflow
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex data-related issues
  • Develop and maintain software features to streamline and scale batch jobs
  • Design and develop systems and methods for ensuring data quality and integrity

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $117,000.00-$234,000.00, based on location and experience. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, vision, and dental coverage, 401(k) match, stock purchase plan, paid maternity and parental leave, and more.
