Role Overview

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with general education teachers to ensure seamless student support and coordination.
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress, adhering to state and federal guidelines.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field.
  • Valid Michigan teaching certification with a Special Education endorsement.
  • Previous experience working with elementary students is preferred.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential.
