Security Guardian

Job Summary:

• ">
• Protect patients, associates, and visitors by providing a visible presence and responding to emergencies.">
• Conduct security patrols of hospital facilities and grounds to prevent and detect security breaches.">
• Identify and report security trends, incidents, and potential threats.">
• Take initial information for incident reports, submit reports in a timely manner, and conduct investigations as needed.">
• Respond promptly to service requests and enforce facility parking rules through patrols and violation citations.">
• Assist clinical and non-clinical staff with combative patients or visitors, demonstrating competence in client care responsibilities.">
• Maintain proficiency in operating security equipment, including Attendant Console, Paging System, security radio/dispatch system, and CCTV monitors.">
• Promote a safe environment by reporting safety hazards during security rounds.">

Requirements:

• ">
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.">
• Must be mentally alert at all times and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.">
• Must be able to make immediate decisions regarding laws, policies, and procedures.">
• Minimum two years of armed security experience preferred; law enforcement experience also desired.">
• Active Level 3 Certification (Texas) is mandatory, along with other certifications such as Basic Life Support and IAHSS Basic Security Certification.">
• Must pass random drug screening and complete FEMA Emergency Management Institute Courses.">

Compensation Package:

We offer an estimated salary of $65,000 per year, which may vary based on location and qualifications.
