Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapy Clinical Supervisor to join our team at Johns Hopkins Health System. As a key member of our Respiratory Care Services team, you will provide leadership and guidance to our respiratory therapists, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and guidance to respiratory therapists in the delivery of patient care.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the RCS Leadership Team to ensure excellence in patient care and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Role model clinical and critical thinking expertise, and assist in the education and development of respiratory therapists.
  • Assist in the improvement of clinical and operational processes, and ensure that educational efforts support RCS goals and strategic plans.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Current Florida Respiratory Therapist Licensure and Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
  • Graduate of a Registered Respiratory Therapy Program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC).
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in neonatal/pediatric critical intensive care.
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from the American Heart Association, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification if working in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, and Neonatal/Pediatric Specialist (NPS) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
