Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Roofing Superintendent to join our team at Jenkins Services Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of commercial roofing projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate the activities of roofing crews, ensuring they have the necessary resources and materials to complete projects efficiently.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, property owners, and other stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the project management team to develop and implement project schedules, budgets, and quality control plans.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of project progress, including documentation of site visits, inspections, and quality control measures.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve project efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 3+ years of experience in commercial construction, with a focus on roofing operations.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and coordinating large-scale construction projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
  • Experience with industry-specific software and technology (e.g., project management tools, construction estimating software).
  • Fluency in Spanish or other languages.
