Job Overview

We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team. As a CN A, you will work in a dynamic environment where no day is ever the same as the next. Your tasks will be diversified, and you will be supporting our mission to provide quality services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities
  1. Monitor Health Conditions: Ensure the health conditions of individuals served are monitored and quality services are provided.
  2. Provide Training and Supervision: Provide training, assistance, and/or supervision to individuals in the areas of daily living, personal care, financial management, community, and social integration.
  3. Maintain Safe Supports: Help maintain safe and quality supports for individuals served.
  4. Assist with Activity Programs: Assist with activity programs, including off-site outings and appointments.
  5. Documentation: Maintain current progress notes and other documentation.
  6. Household Activities: Assist with household activities such as housekeeping and meal preparation.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience: One year experience as a Certified Nurse Assistant, preferably working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a hospital, residential, clinical, and/or long-term care setting.
  • Certifications: Current Certified Nurse Assistant CPR/First Aid certification required.
