Cath Lab Technologist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our team at Providence Regional Medical Center Everett Colby Campus.

Job Summary

The Cath Lab Technologist will be responsible for assisting with cardiovascular procedures, including diagnostic and interventional cases. The ideal candidate will have experience with scrub and circulate skills, as well as monitor and EKG skills. Balloon angioplasty, PCI, stents, thrombectomy, and Impella insertion experience are required. Watchman procedures, septal closure, and pacemaker/defib device placement experience are preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with cardiovascular procedures, including diagnostic and interventional cases
  • Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies for procedures
  • Monitor and record patient vital signs during procedures
  • Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure patient safety and quality care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
  • Scrub and circulate skills required
  • Monitor and EKG skills preferred
  • Experience with balloon angioplasty, PCI, stents, thrombectomy, and Impella insertion required
  • Watchman procedures, septal closure, and pacemaker/defib device placement experience preferred
Work Environment

This is a full-time position with a guaranteed 36 or 40-hour contract. The Cath Lab Technologist will work in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of cases. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team to ensure patient safety and quality care.
