We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at the London Correctional Institution in Ohio.

Job Details

The selected candidate will work as a Medical Staff Augmentation, providing high-quality nursing care to patients. The position is for a duration of 52 weeks, with guaranteed hours and a competitive salary. This opportunity allows you to develop your skills and experience in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer nursing care within the scope of practice under the direction of a registered nurse, licensed physician, or other certified professional.
  • Collect specimens, perform dialysis treatments, operate hemodialysis equipment, and monitor patients during procedures.
  • Assist physicians with physical exams, treatments, and laboratory tests.
  • Maintain accurate medication records, including charts and counts, and ensure proper stock of medical supplies and equipment.
  • Provide general nursing and direct care, including taking vital signs, assisting with personal grooming and hygiene, and administering topical ointments and solutions.

Requirements:

  • Licensed Practical Nurse in Ohio.
  • CPR certification.
  • Ability to commit to the specified schedule.
