PrideStaff in Asheville is seeking an Electronics Specialist to work on the 1st shift. This role offers a competitive salary of $20.00 per hour.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling electronic measurement equipment, testing and calibrating products, and troubleshooting defects to component level. Additionally, they will use various tools and test equipment to build, test, and repair product.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and comprehend assembly drawings, procedures, schematics, wiring diagrams, user manuals, etc.
  • Assemble electronic measurement equipment per prints and procedures
  • Test and calibrate product for proper operation including accuracy requirements and determine if in/out of tolerance. Record data as required.
  • Troubleshoot defects to component level and repair as needed
  • Collaborate with engineers and other professionals on various technical tasks
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or apprenticeship as electronic technician preferred
  • Previous experience as electronic technician or similar role
  • Familiarity working with various tools and electronic test equipment
  • Familiarity with typical electronic instrumentation such as Oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, frequency meters, etc. is preferred
  • Basic understanding of metrology and traceability certifications of data
  • MS Office and diagnostic software (e.g. PC-based)

Work Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 6:30 am to 4:30 pm
