OSP Construction Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled OSP Construction Manager to join our team at Pyramid Consulting, Inc. This is a contract position with a 06+ Months duration and is located in Rhinelander, WI.

Key Responsibilities:

• Familiarity with permitting requirements, including Work Zone Protection (WZP) and Traffic Control plans (TCP).
• Project Scheduling to meet project timelines.
• Project Inspections, including pre and post inspections.
• Material Management to ensure efficient project execution.
• Utilize the JIM process as necessary to resolve project issues.
• Ensure accurate reporting, including invoicing and timesheets.
• Maintain accurate records, including asbuilts.
• Attend pre-construction meetings to ensure project success.
• Monitor project expenditures for accuracy and budget requirements.
• Plant Damage investigation and reporting.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Strong knowledge of OSP Construction Standards and Practices.
• Strong knowledge of OSP Unit Descriptions and SSP contracts.
• Strong knowledge of State, Local, and Company standards for Safety.
• Minimum five years of combined Outside Plant construction and splicing experience.
• Physical requirements include the ability to work out of doors in inclement weather, extended driving, and lifting and carrying of moderately heavy objects.
• Candidates must be willing to work overtime, be on-call periodically for nights and weekends, and work as required to accomplish goals and objectives.
• Overnight travel may occasionally be required.
• Valid driver's license is required.
