Pharmacy Specialist Job Description:

The Southern Ohio Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Registered Pharmacist to fill this critical role. As a Pharmacy Specialist, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy department.

Key Responsibilities:
- Compounding and dispensing medications and pharmaceutical supplies according to accepted standards of practice
- Maintaining accurate and appropriate patient profiling and charging records for all inpatient and non-inpatient medication orders
- Providing exceptional customer service to patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
- Collaborating with the Director of Pharmacy to develop and implement new procedures and protocols

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (5 year) is required
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PhD) is also preferred
- Pharmacy (OH) license required
- Graduate Pharmacists may also be hired awaiting license

Salary: $135,000 - $165,000 per year
