Job Description

We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team at Empeople Credit Union. In this role, you will be the face of our organization, providing exceptional service to customers and promoting products that enhance their financial well-being.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers with enthusiasm and professionalism, acting as a concierge for their banking needs.
  • Search for opportunities to promote products and services that benefit customers and improve their financial situation.
  • Handle all account servicing requests, including deposits, withdrawals, and cash transactions.
  • Follow cash-handling procedures to receive deposits, verify endorsements, and issue receipts.
  • Count, verify, and package currency to balance drawers.
  • Responsible for imaging transactions to post to customer accounts.
  • Maintain daily banking operations, including record retention, cash management, inventory, and office security.
  • Investigate and resolve balancing discrepancies.
  • Develop positive working relationships with colleagues, support team goals, and respond to employee concerns.
  • Meet quality assurance expectations and maintain strong organizational skills.
  • Weekend hours may be required.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent and two years of experience in customer service, cash handling, and account servicing.

Licenses/Certifications:

  • Notary Public
  • Bondable
  • Acceptable Credit History

We offer a competitive salary, $45,000 - $60,000 per year, based on location and experience. Benefits include health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
