Ultrasonic Testing Development Program Manager

We are seeking an experienced Ultrasonic Testing Development Program Manager to join our team at Framatome GmbH. As a key member of our Installed Base Business Unit, you will be responsible for managing NDE development activities and resources, engaging with potential customers to identify NDE examination needs, and designing and developing innovative non-destructive inspection techniques for specific applications.
This is a full-time role that requires up to 25% travel. You will be part of a proven team that is committed to delivering clean, safe, and economical low-carbon energy to meet the global ambition for a better tomorrow.
Key Responsibilities- Manage NDE development activities and resources
- Manage budget and schedule for all NDE development projects
- Engage with potential customers to identify NDE examination needs
- Design and develop innovative non-destructive inspection techniques for specific applications
- Interface with tool design engineers to specify the correct NDE techniques needed to meet customer requirements
- Collaborate with NDE Services team to ensure successful field implementation
- Participate in industry conferences and meetings pertaining to NDE
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related technical field
- At least 12 years of experience in a related technical role
- Strong knowledge of non-destructive evaluation (NDE) methodologies, especially ultrasonic testing
- Thorough understanding of ASME code and nuclear industry regulatory requirements associated with NDE
- Minimum of 8 years experience in NDE technique development, with a focus on ultrasonic testing
- Significant experience in writing technical justification and procedural documents
