Job Summary:

This position requires a highly skilled and dedicated individual to supervise and support the development of young children in a high-quality learning environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive space that fosters social, emotional, and cognitive growth in children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and engage with children during activities and ensure their safety at all times
  • Assess and document children's developmental progress and provide guidance on individualized learning plans
  • Maintain open communication with families and colleagues to ensure seamless transitions and collaborative approaches
  • Develop and implement curriculum plans that align with NAEYC and Keystone Stars standards
  • Promote a culture of acceptance, understanding, and respect for diversity among children, families, and staff
  • Foster strong relationships with families through regular communication, updates, and involvement in decision-making processes
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in early childhood education and participate in ongoing professional development opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with CACFP regulations and maintain accurate records of meals and snacks served
  • Perform general housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment

Requirements:

  • Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field (Associate's or Bachelor's)
  • Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or willingness to obtain within 1 year
  • Ability to lift 25-50 pounds and perform physical demands of the job
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and adapt to changing circumstances

Compensation:

$45,000 - $55,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience
