Caregiving Specialist

The Caregiving Specialist - Medical Surgical plays a pivotal role in delivering exceptional patient care, encompassing assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation under the guidance of the Nurse Manager.
This position involves orchestrating comprehensive care for patients and their families across the healthcare continuum, ensuring that care aligns with established agency policies, procedures, and standards of practice.
The RN is accountable for clinical, educational, quality, and fiscal outcomes in patient care and reports directly to the unit Nurse Manager.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver direct patient care, including nursing assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate care for patients and families across the healthcare continuum.
- Maintain accountability for clinical, educational, quality, and fiscal patient care outcomes.
- Adhere to the nursing department's model of care in line with agency policies, procedures, and standards of practice.
- Foster effective communication with healthcare team members, patients, and families.
- Prioritize tasks efficiently to complete assignments.
Our compensation package includes an estimated annual salary of $85,000 - $110,000 based on experience and qualifications. We also offer a comprehensive benefits program, which includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Minimum of 24 months of experience as a Med Surg/Telemetry RN in a hospital setting
- Basic computer proficiency for accessing, entering, and interpreting data
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills for prioritizing tasks
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program
Active RN license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA
