Job Description

We are seeking a Federal Grants Management Specialist II to support updates of federal grant policies and procedures. Key responsibilities include designing, developing, implementing, and interpreting federal grants/assistance management policies, procedures, and practices. The successful candidate will also serve as a liaison between the U.S. Federal Government and external customers, recipients, and awardee community to clarify, interpret, and resolve issues.

  • Designing, developing, implementing, and interpreting federal grants/assistance management policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Serving as a liaison between the U.S. Federal Government and external customers, recipients, and awardee community.
  • Maintaining copies of contracts/grants, staff all requested changes, and determining if changes apply to other grants.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this position, applicants must have a Bachelor's degree or at least 24 credit hours in business or a business-related field. Additionally, six (6) years of Federal Government grants management experience are required, along with knowledge of federal grant laws, regulations, and policies and an understanding of business and industry grant practices.

Preferred Job Qualifications

Certified Federal Grants Manager certification through NGMA and knowledge of eRA Commons are preferred qualifications for this position.
