Communities in Schools of Houston seeks a highly skilled and dedicated Student Support Manager to join our team. This key role plays a critical part in the day-to-day operations on assigned campus sites, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services that meet the needs of students.

About the Role:

  • The successful candidate will oversee the management of direct service delivery, including supportive guidance, referral, linkage, and monitoring, as well as parental involvement, academic support, career awareness, and cultural enrichment.
  • This position involves interfacing with campus teams, community partners, and resources to ensure seamless coordination and collaboration.
  • Apart from these core responsibilities, the Student Support Manager will also be involved in various administrative functions such as budget management, caseload oversight, and compliance goal achievement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Sciences or Social Work required; Master's Degree preferred
  • At least two years of related work experience
  • Valid Texas Driver License
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with multiple levels of supervision within CIS and the campus
  • Experience working with youth, preferably in a school setting
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to meet short- and long-term deadlines
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Estimated Annual Salary: $55,000 - $65,000
  • Additional Pay: Bilingual Stipend ($1,500/year) and License Stipend ($4,000/year)
  • Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package available upon hire
