About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Dishware Specialist to join our team at Pho Ca Dao Vietnamese Kitchen in San Diego, CA.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment by washing, drying, and storing dishes, utensils, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Wash and sanitize all dishware, utensils, and equipment using industrial dishwashers or by hand
  • Maintain a clean and tidy workspace, including the dishwashing area, storage rooms, and surrounding areas
  • Sort and stack clean dishes, ensuring they are properly stored and easily accessible
  • Report any issues or concerns related to dishware, equipment, or kitchen facilities to management in a timely manner
  • Contribute to a safe working environment by following health and safety guidelines and protocols

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of experience as a dishwasher in a commercial kitchen setting
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while also being a team player
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and management
