Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate educator to join our team as a Part-time Adult Education Instructor. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing individualized basic skills instruction to students seeking to obtain their GED or prepare for post-secondary education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality instruction to students in a supportive and inclusive learning environment
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to inform instruction
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve student outcomes

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent foreign credential
  • Secondary math teaching certification or bachelor's degree for mathematics educators

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Current Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate
  • Teaching experience in adult education or a related field
  • Knowledge of Adult Education and College and Career Readiness Standards
  • Experience working with English as a Second Language (ESL) students
