Job Summary

This Rental Sales Management Trainee position offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills in sales, operations, and management. As a member of our dynamic team, you will be responsible for acquiring proven industry knowledge, skills, and resources to develop your relationship-building abilities.

Essential Functions

  • Handle inbound calls and outbound solicitations to generate rental, lease, and used vehicle sales leads.
  • Maintain accurate data within our marketing database.
  • Manage all rental asset processes, including Vehicle PM and cleanliness standards.
  • Meet overall Ryder market share by successfully executing sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Maintain compliance with company, local, state, federal, and other regulatory agencies.
  • Reconcile customer concerns, issues, and disputes to maintain ongoing relationships and grow the current customer base.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Perform On-Call Representative duties as assigned by Supervisor.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Possess flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • High energy, self-motivated, and self-directed individual who can focus on multiple projects and activities simultaneously.
  • Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors).
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-up practices.
  • Possess a high degree of common sense and aptitude to learn quickly.
  • Must be computer literate, intermediate required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or similar related field.
  • One year or more customer service experience with issues resolution preferred.
  • Must be computer literate, intermediate required.
