Job Summary:

The Assistant General Manager of Dispensary is a key leadership role at Ethos Cannabis, responsible for assisting the General Manager in managing a team of dispensary employees. This position involves supporting the General Manager with all aspects of dispensary operations, including coaching and developing the retail store team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the General Manager with weekly and monthly sales information
  • Manage employee schedules and work hours, including vacation requests
  • Train new employees and retrain existing staff as needed
  • Motivate the team to meet and exceed sales goals
  • Conduct performance reviews of dispensary employees
  • Inform employees of new updates and company developments
  • Support the General Manager in evaluating applicants and interviewing candidates
  • Manage inventory and ensure adequate stock levels
  • Promote a positive, customer-service oriented work environment
  • Monitor store activities to maximize efficiency and minimize errors

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a cannabis retail environment
  • Strong understanding of state and local medical cannabis laws and regulations
  • Excellent team building, communication, and people skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Strong attention to detail, organization skills, and time management abilities
