Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Equipment Engineer to join our team at American Honda Motor Co. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise in mechanical systems, designing and implementing equipment solutions that drive business sustainability.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience, with 0-6 years of engineering experience. Proficiency in Catia 3D Design or equivalent software is also required.

This position offers a competitive salary range of $80,000-$120,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for career growth and development. Our comprehensive benefits package includes paid time off, annual bonus, and education reimbursement for continued learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement E-Flow (evaluation flow) for investment projects to achieve business plan targets
  • Complete equipment improvement activities and decision-making processes to enhance characteristics empowering associates to succeed
  • Adhere to equipment installation standards to improve MTBF and MTTR
  • Drive engineering solutions to solve complex problems and achieve department targets
  • Support the introduction of new technologies and provide technical training to drive continuous process improvements
  • Utilize data analysis and customer feedback to identify potential problems and implement countermeasures to reduce impact on SQCDME
  • Maintain technical documentation and procedures to meet design intent for long-term production sustainability
  • Develop capability of self, colleagues, and team through training, sharing experiences, and abilities to ensure team technical skill set growth
